Privacy Policy and KVKK Information Notice

Gelecek Nakliyat acts as the data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal data of individuals who visit our website, use our services, and contact us.

This Privacy Policy explains the purposes for which your personal data is processed, the legal grounds for processing, the parties with whom your data may be shared, and your rights under KVKK.

Depending on our relationship and your consent, the following categories of personal data may be processed:

  • Contact information (phone number, e-mail address, address)
  • Customer transaction information (requested service, moving addresses, moving date, item details)
  • Marketing information (survey answers, feedback)
  • Transaction security information (IP address, cookie records, log records, session information)
  • Audio and visual records (phone calls, photos or videos you provide for the requested service)

3. Purposes of Processing

Your personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • Providing the requested moving services, preparing quotes and performing contracts
  • Managing customer relations, addressing requests and evaluating complaints
  • Measuring and improving service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Fulfilling legal obligations (invoicing, taxation, statutory record-keeping)
  • Conducting information security processes and preventing fraud
  • If your explicit consent is given, conducting promotional, campaign and marketing activities

4. Legal Grounds for Processing

Personal data is processed under the following legal grounds set out in Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK:

  • Explicit provision in laws
  • Direct relation to the establishment or performance of a contract
  • Necessity for compliance with the legal obligations of the data controller
  • Necessity for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject are not harmed
  • Your explicit consent (marketing communications, optional cookies, etc.)

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared with the following parties only to the extent necessary, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK:

  • Suppliers and business partners cooperating in service delivery (transportation staff, insurance companies)
  • Authorised public institutions and bodies as required by legal obligations
  • Information technology infrastructure providers (e-mail, hosting, analytics)
  • Our consultants upon request (financial advisors, legal counsel)

6. Retention Period

Personal data is retained for the period required by applicable legislation or as necessary for the purpose of processing. Once the retention period ends or the purpose of processing ceases, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Within the scope of commercial and tax legislation, transaction records are retained for at least 10 years.

7. Rights of the Data Subject under KVKK

Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK, you have the following rights as a data subject:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed
  • Request information if it has been processed
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
  • Know third parties to whom data is transferred at home or abroad
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate processing
  • Request deletion or destruction subject to the conditions of KVKK
  • Request that correction, deletion or destruction be notified to third parties to whom data has been transferred
  • Object to a result that arises against you due to analysis solely by automated means
  • Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing

8. How to Apply

To exercise your rights under KVKK, you may submit a written application to the postal address above or send an e-mail from your registered electronic mail (KEP) address or the e-mail address registered in our system to geleceknakliyat@gmail.com. Your application will be answered within 30 days at the latest.

Pursuant to the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, your application must clearly include your name, surname, Turkish ID number (or, if a foreign national, nationality and passport number), notification address, telephone, e-mail and the subject of the request.

9. Changes to this Policy

This policy may be updated as needed. The current version is always published on this page; for material changes, the last-updated date at the top is refreshed.
